1. When you create a piece of packaging or any kind of box,tray or whatever you nets. You will allways be asked to design a net. Nets are the way to comunicate to a printers or cutters to make your design out of board or another foldable material easily. Some are shown below.
If you look at both the nets shown above you are able to see what you send to other people to get your product made. They are only simple trays that can be used but there are more alabrate ways to fold board or paper.
2. I have seen a few different ways to put together a fully folable box without using glue. They are shown here:-
Just by using folds and no glue you are able to create a soid box out of one or two large pieces of cardboard.If i where to use one of these or something similar then it will have to have some other form ow board to hold the three pieces tightly and safely in the packaging.
As the piece has no other componants to it then just folds and cuts then the design of the packaging would be the key selling point as the amount of white space you are able to you is a lot larger then any other type of box design.
